Child Porn Case :
A 23 year-old man from Maine was sentenced yesterday in federal court to five years in prison for distributing child pornography , the U.S. attorney's offce said .
Zachary J.Nielson Gimpel of Waterville used his mother's computer as a server to distribute thousands of images of child pornography and advertised on an Internet relay channel , according to prosecutors .
A secret Service investigation led authorities to Gimpel , who sent child pornography to an undercover agent in the District in April 2004.
Arrested in March 2005 , he pleaded guity in August and was sentenced
yesterday in U.S. District Court by Judge Emmet G.Sullivan
